Dacia

Founded in 1966 in Romania, and a subsidiary of the Renault group since 1999, Dacia is the brand that symbolizes automotive accessibility for a wide public, and robustness. Produced for the most part at Mioveni in Romania, the Sandero, Duster and Logan models topped the million mark in sales in 2015. For 37 years until 2006, Dacia manufactured the Dacia 1300, a clone of the Renault 12, following a licensing agreement between Renault and the Romanian state in 1968.
